putting a pa Body lift on a 2000 extended cab

Im looking into a pa bl kit for my 2000 xlt extended cab. Wondering if any body had pictures, tips, ect.
Are body lift gap guards necisary on 3" of bl? And im seeing some people say lines need to be extended while others say nothing had to be changed?
Any info or tips about what im getting myself into or pictures would be great!
Thanks

You will want gap guArds otherwise it'll look goofy seeing right through the truck and very obvious that it has a bl.

Thanks, do they need to be put in during the installation on the body lift or are they put in after?

I was also looking at performance assesories vs summit racing - anyone have an idea on that?

Thanks again in advance

Start spraying your body bolts with a penetrating lube. And be sure to wash up under your truck real good too. Read the instructions before putting it on.

I bought one off eBay for my Ranger, and everything was fine. Just like anything on eBay, make sure the seller is legit, so on and so forth. Spray those bolts a lot. I sprayed mine every other day for 2 weeks, and a couple were still a PITA. Good luck man.

Get a Performance Accessories body lift. They make the most complete kits on the market. Just take your time and it will be fine. None of the wires are extended, but a few have to have mounting brackets moved. Some have to extend the gas filler neck and some don't, but the extension is included.
