Thought I would share my truck...

Decided to finally get some pictures of my truck on here. Did a few mods to already but not close to being finished. Tell me what you think or some mods you think I should do.

Roll bars went out of style a long time ago. Don't see much of them anymore. Sand down your steps and re-paint, wheels-n-tires.... nice truck to begin the mods. How many miles are on her? What engine? Auto or Manual?
And ... oh yeah:

Ya Ya I know they went out of style a long time ago, but who knows they might come back everything does. The steps are coming off to get replaced with some single steps instead of the bar or might go some N-Fabs. Next step after that is to Paint or Line-X the bottem part of the truck black and add a black fuel door, then some black/smoked headlights and taillights. I was also able to pick up a Cobra style Cowl hood that was off a junk vehicle to put on my truck, will be working on that in a couple weeks.

Get rid of the step bars and add new wheels and tires.

Sweet truck, I'm definitely a fan of the "Sport" model truck. I kinda dig the roll bar, but maybe I'm stuck in the 80's. I'd actually think about getting one if I wouldn't lose to much of the functionality of my bed.

I took off my step bars last week thinking I would get the single steps but the wide Super Hoops style (http://www.carr.com/store/carrsuperhoop.asp) just don't look to be as secure after reading the installation details.

The Cobra hood will be a nice touch, though personally it's not my style. I like these: https://www.cervinis.com/Files/Image...20_1_small.png
Sounds like you know what you want.... post up picks as it comes along

Its nice having the body lift as it lets me take it on and off in no time if I ever need the use of the whole bed, but for now I don't really use the whole thing to much. Now I just need to make a mount for a Hi-lift jack.

I was going to get that hood, but could not pass up 30 bucks for the hood I got, with a little elbow grease and some bondo it will look brand new.

These are the steps I am thinking about getting, just debating on whether or not I want one pair or two for the rear door.

Looks good. the flares will look good in a gloss black on there.

i like the roll bar but it needs to be forward some more and needs lights i want something to carry my full size spare in the bed but dont want to take up my whole bed yet.

EDIT. need to raise up the back bumper asap. the low rear bumper with BL is a chevy thing haha

Dang Jake... good eyes! missed that one.

sportracer.... yup, $30 for a Cobra hood would be hard to beat. For $30.. I'll take two .. As far as the Single Steps.... since they do not use the factory mounting points, and it seems the mounting bolts would be smaller.... when I climb into my truck, I don't want the step to give way from the rocker panels

I know what you mean about the rear bumper, just never got around to grinding of the rivets holding the brackets on to replace them. As far as the roll bar, theres not much room in front of the roll bar to go any further the mounts on the bottem are pretty close to the front of the bed. I have to adjust the bed a little anyways so hopefully that will fix that. I am thinking about putting some KC daylighters on top with the outside being driving lights and the middle two being pencil beams that way I get full coverage. Will keep posted as more Mods get done.

I like the roll bars just needs some lights on it, and new rims and bigger tires
