I just got a new Griot's Garage DA and like it so much; mush more powerful than my old Porter Cable DA. I use mostly Megs #105 and #205 to correct the paint, sollowed by final app. of Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Thanks,

Jim
Once I found the pic I wanted, I set the size in photoshop to blew it up to make sure it wouldn't get distorted. I sent the design lady a jpeg attachment with the size I wanted the image to be. She blew it up on her program and made sure it was ok, then used a digital printer to lay the image out on vinyl. Then she laminated it and off it went. I had it made a little bigger than what I needed so I could place it and then trim it to the shape of the airbag cover.

Here's a few pics from back in October of the two trucks together...

I put the '90 away for the winter in the beginning of December so all I can do is look at the pictures until spring haha

After I seen this pic a while back... I have been looking for an aftermarket cover to simulate this. I have found some nice ones, though doesn't look I could do F150 on them. But for $250 for a cover................ (is this just a painted steel cover? the ones I look at are aluminum)

I like the idea... don't want to copy cat if I can find a different way to the same end result. But dam.. $50 for a steel cover vs $250 for aluminum....... plus fluid/modifier
replacement

Man I don't care if you copy it...it's not patented

...it's much cheaper, paint the stock diff the color you want then make a stencil of the logo you want
