Thanks for the comments guys! It's a part time job in itself to keep it clean

Really what sold me on buying the truck to begin with was the color and the fact it was a stepside.

I like doing little things like the diff cover, not real noticeable but adds a custom touch

Thank you! I just painted it...masked off the shape of the diff and sprayed it maroon, then made a mask of the F-150 logo and sprayed that silver

Thanks Pat. Yea I don't think if you painted your diff it would make a difference haha. Love the stance of your silver truck

I figured I would just keep adding to this thread...

I had thought about painting the air bag cover on the dash but decided not to go that route. I had a sign company make up a digital print of the Cape Cod Canal in MA.

Just got around to installing this today so here's a few pics

lol thanks! The DA removed or lightened a bunch of swirls and holograms. The truck doesn't have any scratches on it so I really don't know. I have some detailing jobs coming up so I'll get a better idea of what it really can do. I don't use the real aggresive products on my own truck because it wears down the clear coat. But even so there was a big difference..and I used Meguiar's SwirlX to remove the holograms/swirls and it really pulled the matallic out of the paint.

Could you supply more detail on the airbag cover art? What's it made of and what do you ask for when you go into the sign shop?

I just got a new Griot's Garage DA and like it so much; mush more powerful than my old Porter Cable DA. I use mostly Megs #105 and #205 to correct the paint, sollowed by final app. of Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Thanks,

Jim
