Hi all,

I have a 2001 4.6L that lost power steering. I was making a slight turn into a parking spot and the steering got real hard like it would if it stalled out. I checked the fluid and it seemed ok. The belt looks ok and pully is turning. I'm just looking for pointers what it could be. I'm guessing its the pump.

Is it a real difficult job changing out the pump? I have a hanes manual and have done most repairs myself.
