Heres a pic I took today with all my most recent mods. The pic at the top of the thread is what it looked like when I first got it.

Acetone badges and cut your antenna shorter and acetone it. Lightning headlight and new taillights. Lariat mirrors and get a billet grille.

That's just a few cheap mods you can do.

Looking good so far. I don't think you'll need the body lift though if you just wanna go with 285's. The front end level should work just fine for you.

All our trucks are different in one way or another. Common things are like Repo Lightning Heads/corners, tint,LEDs, Gotts Mod yada-yada-yada....... some go with suspension lifts, some with body lifts, Some with both. Wheels... Tires... cut or not to cut.. How much money are you willing to spend??? High School-er, not so much... older guy/gal, might afford a little more. READ and SEARCH the forums...Look at our pics. Then see how you feel about certain things.Make it you own... and post plenty of pics

Also... and I was gonna question the 2004 thing that looked like a 97.... but I won't. I saw (and I stood right up to it to verify) ... in New York City.... a Heritage Edition that had an emblem that resembled a King Ranch emblem (which I knew better) but it was two tone brown ... looked like ours,.... and the badge said Special Edition Heritage. Good question. Mine is not a "special heritage edition" that comes with that badge. My rear badge only says f150 heritage. Basically I think it was made from all the parts they had left over from the 2003's and they slapped heritage on it. lol Now the special heritage editions are much nicer. Mine are just a basic package nothing automatic except the tranny.
