40mph+ front end shimmy

I have searched around this forum with no answers yet.

Here is the problem. Once I get above 40 on my spedo ( it is off because of 33 x 12.5’s ) I get a good shake in the front.

I have been to 2 dealers and 3 indy shops trying to get this fixed. So far I have replaced all the ball joints, lower control arms. hub bearings, and tires, I have also had an alignment done and had the tires balanced and rotated twice.

No one can see what is wrong but they all agree that it is messed up. I do have stock spings and shocks and about 150,000 miles.

Any help would be great. I am at the point now where I might just tear it all out and install a pre runner front end.

Axles? I don't know how these trucks are laid out - sorry, my ignorance. But I just fixed the same issue in my car and it was the front left drive axle (torn boot) causing my car to shake like crazy.

Previous to that though I had the same issue with a caliper being stuck that caused the right front to shake too... odd stuff...

id check bent wheel or bad tire. are the tires used or worn bad?

findout how much weight is on each wheel and that can be a good indicator

Thanks for all the replies. Forgot to mention that the stering damper has been replaced also and the tires are brand new BFG AT, with less than 3000 mile. i was thinkg bent wheel to but I did a rotation and have the same problems. also I had the same issue with the old tires so....

I am going to get new shocks and sway bar busshings this weekend so we will see if that helps.

I will say that at 150k, your shocks are probably doing absolutely nothing. Probably doing nothing for quite a while. It may not be your problem, but if you replace them, you will feel a huge difference.
