HELP...How do I remove highway paint?

I drove thru some wet highway paint and the rear tire splashed some paint on my wheel molding...just a little splattering, what is the best way to remove it? thanks in advance for any advice.

I have had pretty good results using a clay bar in the past.

When I got my truck it had some tribal pin striping painted on the tailgate that was over the clearcoat and I used Easy off oven cleaner and it took it right off with no harm to the paint. I jut washed it afterward and it shined like new, just make sure you wear gloves because the oven cleaner is a b*tch to get off your hands.

i got this stuff from Wal Mart called "Mockenbockers (i think) Grafitti Remover"...comes in a spray bottle...just spray it on, give it a few seconds and wipe off...worked great to remove some overspray i accidently caused when i painted my bedrails (yes i know they come off...but i have a tonneau cover that holds them in...)

Either that or get some adhesive solvent. It will get that stuff off, and wont hurt your clear coat.

Actually it depends on what the wheel molding is made out of.
