front differential housing...
i hate asking so many questions, but im going junkyard picking tomorrow and i got ideas im not sure would work.
is there anyway to make a 7700/250ld front differential housing use the same bolt pattern as a regular f150? ive never taken the front end apart, but are the CV shafts the same? i was gonna swap the differential housing out in the front, and take the rear differential to swap into mine.
thanks in advance

You are correct. They have the same front diff, both being the 8.8 they both bolt in the same. To make the front end 7 lug all you need to do is swap over the front wheel bearings and brake assembly. You need to swap over the Calipers and braket as the regular f150 caliper is not large enough to fit over the pads and rotors for a 7700 series or F-250 light duty. Now you can also swap over the torsion bars to your F-150. to have a real 7700 series but those are a ^&%$# to get out of the lower A-arm sooo it might be easier to swap the lower A-arm with the torsion bar still attached over to your F-150. If you have any Questions Just ask, Im currently in the process of doing this swap. I can tell you that if any of the bolts for the front diff are seized into thier bushings you are going to have to cut it out. Thats what I had to do.
yes they are the same in lenght, Although they do have a diffrent weight rating then the regular F-150 Torsion bars.
