Battery & plugs questions
Hello again,
The battery in my 1999 F-150 LTX is a ACDelco ( ACD65-60 ) and was told it was the original battery? Weather this is true or not I will be replacing the battery soon and was curious to learn what was the best all arround replacement to use?
The shop CD I have specifies that the correct original spark plugs are Autolite AWSF32PG for the right side and AWSF32P for the left and that the replacement plug for either side is AWSF32PP. IS this correct? Also Code 304 indicating #4 missfire prompted its removal and this plug was found to be a AGSF32FM. Did some in the past mess up or is there some thing I need be made aware of?
Thank you in advance

There has never been a Ford to my knowledge that has come from the factory with an AC Delco battery. A lot of people here like Interstate batteries for general use. There are better batteries at a premium price, but for under $100 the Interstates are as good as any.
The current correct plug for a 4.6 is an AGSF32 and a 5.4 is an AGSF22. All the rest of the stuff after the numbers signifies different electrode materials and types and aren't that significant. The current method of cataloging Motorcraft plugs is with a SP number, not the A series. By the way, Autolites are not Motorcrafts.
