removing the passenger side airbag?

removing the passenger side airbag?

I want to paint it but cannot get it to come out. how do you do it?

From previous experience from other vehicles,disconnect your battery first, take your glove box out and feel for the nuts underneath that hold it in place... some may be way back and hidden.It might help to have a flashlight on hand to see into dash.

there are 3 bolts that hold it in from the top IIRC...remove the surfboard and shove your head up in there and look straight down.

theyre not fun to get out..

EXACTLY...plus the ones on the bottom...Disconnect the battery and there is also a big yellow connector below the steering column in your truck...Disconnect it also just to be on the safe side...Some people say wait 30 minutes...I wait an hour just to be safe...
