Other than the front valance and grill anything special about an stx? I have an 87 stx ranger and that has a different interior and skid plates.

 

they made a STX package on rangers in 1987? dang...

the STX F150 has an upgraded radio headunit (not sure about speakers) has the different fascia as you mentioned, has the same 17" rims as lariat trucks, and some with the "cool" () STX stickers on the bed. also all the bumpers are painted to match the truck.

 

With the 2.9 engine from a Mercur Scorpio from Germany like I had ??. Mine was 4x4 extended tho and would outrun my brothers '90 2.9 American 2wd extended

 

They also had the STX headlights which were shared with some King Ranch models. Just HD heads minus the amber strip

Thanks for the info found one i may go look at to buy not the flareside i want but easy enough to swap beds. Been finding a bunch of flair sides but most are at least 200 mile ride and low mileage big bucks trucks 15k for a 2003? be better off buying new if i liked that style.
Any body know if it had rear sway bars?

 

The STX-XLT also had a few interior peices painted silver, but the STX-XL did not. Looked really nice IMO.
