trailer wiring problems

hey guys i am new to this site but having been using it for quite a while to help me with some problems. yesterday i bought a new trailer wiring recepticle for my pickup and while i was disconnecting the old one i touched a couple of wires together and now they dont work. the light tester doesnt even come on. i checked all the fuses and there was one blown so i replaced it but i still dont have turning or brakes lights. if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appriciate it.

thanks

There's a little black box, separate from the others under the hood. It only carries two fuses, did you replace any of those? I believe it's a mini 10.

Yea the main PD Box under the hood carries MAXIs, Mini's and relays. But I'm not referring to that one. There's another , hard to see behind that one, toward the hood spring in the corner. It's not in the manual, but it carries a 5 mini and a 10 mini fuse. You'll see it when you look .
