1st post

Well I"ve had a fun time reading quite a few posts and doing a bit of learning about My new purchace.

I just let go My beloved BMW 8 series for a 01 F150 Scab, needing to pull My summer toy, a ski boat!

I got all the vin decipher and door jam reading stuff but My door jam has nothing under the axle part...? does this mean something? ... just want to know what ratio I'm running.

Btw I got a 1990 Ski Centurion Falcon Barefoot, loving it , and now I don't need the comp truck to bring it to where I want to.

Thankyou for the fun hrs of read so far!

Jonathan

You can look at the tag bolted to the differential

I see it in your profile. That's bizarre, the axle code is in fact missing.

Crawl under the back end and read the numbers off the tag - it should be under one of the cover bolts.

To post an image from your album, open the pic and copy the URL to the clipboard. Paste it into the post enclosing in image tags - that would be [IMG] and [/IMG].

any help?

a good thing to crawl under and look too, I found a leak on the pass rear break line where in contacts the axle! Still on My 60 day looksee...
