Well I have been looking for a truck and am wanting a 97 to 03. I like that style, Well I like the newer style and love driving it(my dad has a 06) but the 97 to 03 is in my price range. more like 97 to 00 but was wondering whats a good price. I will be buying one probably with 100,000 miles give or take and want to know what to offer. What would you guys look for?

Just avoid a 97 - 98 v6 truck. They are prone to hydrolocking. Just make sure the engine build date is after 01/15/98 and you'll be fine. The sticker should be on the drivers side valve cover.

 

or just make sure you get a v8 just saying
