Chop, cut, rebuild...2001 F150...
I have decided to go with 2 inch thick 5x135mm to 5x5.5 inch wheel adapters and I am going to run 15 inch wheels. I know I have to grind the calipers but since I got the 35 BFG AT's already I will just buy a set of black steel wheels and mount the BFG's on them. I was wanting to run 5x135 to 8x6.5 wheel adapters but the pattern overlaps and they will cost waaaayyyy too much. So now I am looking for a junk aftermarket steel wheel so I can do some back spacing measurements on what I want to order. The wheels will most likely be 3.75 to 4 inch back spacing wheels and with the 2 inch thick adapters it will put them at 1.75 to 2 inches of back spacing, which is about right where they need to be...
These are the wheels I am going to run. Flat Black, 15x10, and 3.75 back spacing...

Plans changed, Trailworthy Fabrication (406YJ and the others on Pirate 4X4) are running a special right now. Recentered Hummer wheels with tires 190 a piece plus shipping. When I get my taxes I will be getting them. I can't even buy 35 inch tires for that and replacement tires are tires are 75 bucks a piece...
I am going to use the BFG's on my two sled pullers. I can actually fit 15 inch wheels on a 8 lug truck easier than one of these trucks...

F150Radiator support
I have a 2001 F150 and the radiator support is completly rusted out on the bottom where it connects to the frame. I am going to attempt to replace it my self. Is there any welding involved? Is there any special allignment that I need to do? do I need to completly remove the fenders?
Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
