Chop, cut, rebuild...2001 F150...
That dixon bros. long travel suspension looks sick!! I have been looking at it for a while now but just cant justify why I need it. haha. I think I will just end up going with a regular lift when I get back from my deployment.
The HMMWV tires are actually the original GoodYear Wrangler MTs. They are listed in the GY catalog, in the 37 size only, so I would iimagine they fit without the run flats. They do actually fall under federal control as far as exporting them. I actually had a set of 31s on my Nissan, many moons ago.

The baja t/a's probably won't last for crap driving on the road, and at the price tag on those things it probably wouldn't be worth it to give em a try. Since your going for military tires check out war tires in palm coast. They are local and have great prices! a set of four of the 37" goodyears are only 500.

There are five different tires used by the military, and I listed their descriptions in my post above but I will list them again...
36x12.50x16.5 Goodyear MT. Bias ply and really rough tread, pretty much phased out, some old FOB beaters and guard units will have these...
37x12.50x16.5 Goodyear MT. (Double V) What most people recognize as a hummer tire, load range D...
37x12.50x16.5 Goodyear MT/R. The same tread style MT/R you could buy for your street truck til they changed to the new directional MT/R last year, load range F...
37x12.50x16.5 B.F. Goodrich Baja T/A. Specially designed and built for the military by B.F. Goodrich, they are load ranger F, same tread pattern as the well known race tires...
36x12.50x16.5 Super Swamper TSL. Used by the military for Special Forces HMMWV's in Afghanistan mostly, with limited service in Iraq, nothing different than a off-the-shelf TSL...
The Baja's are load range F tires and seem to wear fine on 15K pound Hummers in 155 degree heat while running up and down the roads in Iraq. These are not the race Baja's, these are designed for the military, same tread, just built better...

I think they could also get you some hummer beadlocks if you were still gonna go that route

Yes i know about all of the tires as well as i've seen them in person, i just thought the commercial bajas were the same as the military's since the price is so high. And the goodyears for sale that i was talking about are the double v's.

I got Opie, Dale Baugh, and Explicit here locally that probably could but I can never get any to give me prices when I email them...
I am going to try and get them on next week, or atleast all the holes drilled and have them mocked up... I really need to get a set of wheels and tires first...
