More blackout

Thanks to Jake's constant pressure to be a copycat I went and got my front windshield tinted. 35%, at $70 even for an hour's worth of work. He wrote me for "tint removal" on the receipt

I plan on having the same guy strip the sides and put 15% on those once I get more moo-lah

Hmmm... I would have figured 35% on the windshield would look darker. Your side windows are tintless right?

no sir, my dad had the sides done the day he rolled it off the lot. he says 25% but either they are faded or his age is getting to him because IMO the windshield is the darkest tint on my truck right now. like i said, im stripping whatever they are and dropping them down to 15% here soon

Ha not whining just looks better when its in the sun and you can see how it reflects. ie since you can hardly see the driver seats in the pic in the sun.

Strip the windows yourself you can but the stuff at you local parts store and just spray it on put a plastic bag against the window wait an hour and pull it off. Saves you from having to pay someone to do it.

looks good, doesnt even look like its done!

hey Jake what do you do about inspection stickers and registration stickers, i wanna get mine done but (in a few years) i dont want someone to grab a razor and try to scrape it off and take the tint off too.

i have heard that people take that plastic food wrap and put the sticker on that, then cling it to the window

didnt think about the cling wrap thing. mine is cut out around the stickers so theyre still on the windshield, same with my eztag.
