im wanting to get some xlt mirrors on my truck itss an xl im wanting to know where the cheapest place to get the chrome plated ones, and how would i get the door panel off without braking anything inside of it so it will pop back on correctly?

 

if I could find a set of f250 mirrors I'd sell you mine, there red backing tho. what year model is your truck, they changed door panels. my 97 just has a triangle piece of trim that has to removed to access the mirrors, but it look like that changed in I guess 99

how are you going to mount the switches?

 

be careful what brand of mirrors you get, the cheaper the mirror, the cheaper the chrome.

the door panel comes off really easily. Patman had a video somewhere about doing it, very easy to do though. just a couple of screws and lift up.

Send me a pm and Ill snap some pics of how to take the door panel off. You'll be glad to get rid of those flappers.

 

it is a 2000 and im not gonna hookup the wires just leave in there idc if that little binker works or not

then you're not getting xlt mirrors? lariats have the blinker integrated.
