97-98 to 99+ Front Bumper Conversion
Hello everyone...before you flame and start saying "search", I've done that but still had a relatively simple question that I need help answering, that I couldn't find the exact answer for.
I'm in the process of installing an aftermarket lightning front air dam on my 97 F150. I have a bumper from a 00 F150 that I need to install in order for the aftermarket air dam to fit over it. I have removed the front bumper and am ready to install the new bumper, but I think I might need to buy bumper brackets from what I've researched in order to get the 00 bumper to bolt on.
Can anyone please post up a link to what exactly I need to buy, and also let me know if I need anything else?
I can post pics of the process and what I have if you need 'em.

the brackets that mount to the bumper and the frame on the 97-98 bumper will not fit the new bumper. you will need the new brackets that fit the 99+ bumper but other than that and a new grille surround its bolt up.

parts 15 and 16 are on the truck, 18 are reuseable.
parts 13 and 14 will come with 17 most times and those plus 19 and 20 are what you need to mount the bumper
