Need some input please!!!!

Hey guys, I need some help/suggestion on what to make/buy to keep the rain water from filling the bed area of my truck up. The rain water is causing the cover to sag and fill with water, I had a hot tub in the back today. I had to lift the truck cover and dropped the tail gate down to let all the freaking water out...dang we have had some heay rain here today!!!

Any suggestions on what to do??? Thanks

BTW, I do NOT have a lid/cover

put a garbage bag in the back and fill it with air. tape the bag the center of the bed, it should lift the cover up enough so that the water runs off the edges

get a hard cover, one of the ones that sits just below the edge and slides out. They are really cool and not noticeable.

or make alittle wooden stand that will sit in the bed and poke into the cover to push the cover higher in the center

If your looking for a tonneau then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the lund genesis trifold... It is amazing. If your just wanting to lift up your truck cover then just cut a broom handle in half and stick it up under there...

I'm thinkin one of those orange road cones- they make great party hats too

And when you're done with the road cone, put it in your parking space to keep people out!!!!!

saw horse
on our 27 ft pontoon boat, we'd put saw horses on it with rags wrapped on the edges so it didn't snag or rip the cover

Since you didn't like my idea of putting holes in the cover, gotta agree with the saw horse idea.

Put some gold fish in there and let the neighborhood kids try to fish them out with a stick, hook an dline for $5 a whack, then save your money up for a cheap roll up cover around $140, or a PTM fiberglass cover for around $1000. But that would be a lot of gold fish.

i like the traffic cone or saw horse idea. but if you're trying to do with with the least amount of money involved, then the broom handle or 2x4 will be your cheapest bet.

I like the cone idea seriously though the sawhorse or the broom handle are great ideas too.
