I think it looks good just the way it is. Don't over accessorize. I think the tails and blacked out bumpers look alright, but still think the handles and door moldings should stay the body color. But to each his own, it just really chops it up if you ask me. If it were a different color... it would be different. But on white.. Smoked heads and tails look good, maybe even bumpers but the body should stay 1 color, or in your case, 2 tone. Which I happen to like.

Yep, I'm prolly gunna black the bumpers. Get smoked head and tail lights. Then black the tool box perhaps? and then maybe even paint the honey comb grille black to match?

And again... whats the steps to painting the bumpers black? with the chrome parts and all?

the best way to paint the bumpers is spend the money and get them sand blasted first and then powder coated. otherwise youll be redoing them shortly after.

and im sure you could get the front bumper and lower valance done for about 150 (50 more than mine for sandblasting chrome)

also talk to blueoval_man about the rear. i seem to recal he wanted a chrome one and has a paintable one that would save you work and money

Dang. i like the black wheels. Just not so sure about them being stock and black??

And yes i shall look for Blue_ovalman. =) ooo where are youuu?

And i was talking to dad about getting them bumpers line-xed and he said that maybe we would go to the junkyard get some plastic peices and a 4x4 valance one with tow hook holes and holes for fog lights. he Said he thinks he could get some tow hooks to match up to the holes even tho the frame will be off 3 inches from the body lift. And i jus remember the bottom front corneres of the frame had to be cut bc they would hit the valance with being trimed... will this alter anything with the tow hooks?

And also.. does any one know the laws about smoked tail lights in florida?

Also. I'm not happy with the front end rake my truck has, or only a 3in BL

Id like to level it out or be like 1-2 in tallr in the front Ill lift the back with blocks. but I'm not too sure how to lift the front end?? All i know of is 2.5 in coil spring spacers.. and the you need after market control arms? i belive? or the 3.5 in fabtech spindles and from what i can tell there ALOT of trouble to install.. Any other way to lift the front end you guys know of??

Sorry for all the questions...
But thanks a TON guys!

i also deleted the door molding in that pic.

just tint them and get a recon line of fire. they cost about 50 on ebay and work great.

heres what you can/should do. get some 2" lift coils followed by some 3.5" lift spindles and a 5" rear block and youll be running 35"s easy. you can do it in stages also. very simple.

dont for get your exhaust tips and powdercoating is cheap alternative to lining and is a great long lasting finish

If you paint the bumpers, PTM them. Take off the door moulding, get black rims!

if you want new upper and lower control arms then get the 2.5 spacer, but i have a 1.5" spacer and a 3" PA body lift and 3.5" spindles and 3" blocks in the back and im runnin 35s no prob. And spindles are not hard at all to install, the only kinda difficult task there is to installing new spindles is moving the ball joints from old spindel to new spindel. Other than that it should only take about 4-5 hours to install them. Spindles also get your front end off the ground more!! Its the all around better choice IMO.

Ya well i showed my dad the pics of jakes truck witht he shaded lights.. "you can't see em blah blah blah" and i sed that why he got the line of fire.... and maybe he'll lemme do it.. idk yet

His pretty much said yes to the bumpers getting line-xed

And the tips line-xed too?? idk about all that.... Could ya photoshop it for me? and maybe leave the door molding?

And some where i read about those spindles you haveing to replace abuncha other parts with it? that true or not? and can i get those a little cheaper off ebay too? bc 300-700$ is jus a LIL too much for me..

And where could i find like 2" coil springs??

Thanks again guys!

as far as replaceing other parts when you change your spindles...... you dont have to, you kinda use your own judgement on that. likr if your ball joints look bad then yea replace thembut other than that everything should be fine. They also tell you that you must buy an alignment cam kit for proper alignment and that is also not true. After i lifted my truck with spindles i went and had it aligned with no problem at all. So just be aware of that and just look around on ebay and craigslist and on the forms here to see if anybody id selling some spindles. And i would say the same for the coil springs since your trying to save some money. Other than that just see what you can find through google or something, thats how in found all my lift parts

And also please let me know if yall run across any one selling paintable front or rear bumpers. and a 3.5" spindle kit.

and the truck has been washed... ALOT. next time shes dirty. ill post a few pics then we shall see if the front end is clean now or not =)

Where would i go to see prices on line-xing and powder coating??

Thanks jake. Surely will do it! Could ya maybe get one up with brake light on one and back up light on another?
I rhink around here i'd be fine with them shaded and no line of fire.. we have like maybe 50 cops in my town? and.. they dont worry about that sorta stuff... bc my tag was completly cover with mud for like 3 weeks from my buddy pullin me out of a mud hole with his 4x4... you could even see where the tag was.. and cops followed me through town all the time and didnt say nothing...
