You need to get a L body kit...that STX bumper just looks weird being that much lower. =/

anyone dropped around 3/4 on 18s with a 295/45/18 tire? got pics? I wanna see how it fills out the wheel well on a dropped truck, preferably without skirts or ground effects, just stock body. I may drop mine and go with that size on some 18x9 kmc rockstars but I wanna know if they will look in proportion. If too small in the wheel well, (i like how they fit lightnings, but that may be due to the side skirts) i will get something a little taller, what would be a standard size that will be around a 30in tall tire on an 18x9? thx

They're Toyo Proxes S/T. Yes, year round, but no snow here and not bad in the rain.

Rake is when one end of the vehicle sits higher than the other...

Here is mine when I had the295/45/18 and 3/4. They looked too small in my opinion.

I’m planning on buying a 98 F-150 regular cab short bed styleside and want to lower it, 305/35R18 on the back and 275/40R18 in the front on 18s. What kind of drop should I go for I was looking into 4/6 drops from bel tech but I want some opinions

6" rear you're gonna need a notch

3/5 is the lowest you can go and get away without a notch
2/4 is pretty common for "basic" kits

I got a swingin' deal on the 20" Centerline wheels (from my old 18x9 Enkies') & Lexani tires - I couldn't pass up. The tires are too low a profile for me (255 40 up front 255 45 out back), but I'll drive 'em till their worn out. Then, tire size will be determined by how low the new Bell Tech 2-3" spindles, (trying to decide on which C-Notch to go with)and the adjustable rear hangers, make it

My Blackwood sitting on 20x9.5's and 275 40 Nitto's all the way around. Wheels are late model stock Lincoln. Last years pic of the F-150 with the 18s on 245/60 Michelins'. Many different brands and sizes over the years

Hey Patman, seems like you're the go to guy on lowering, and you've already done what my plan was (if this 4.6 ever dies - 214,000) with fiddy. Do ya have any thoughts on which C-Notch to go with? I've got the BT lowering spindles awaiting installation (front right A arm bushings are worn out, figured its a good time to make some changes)
