that looks really good, i have the same set up as you but i got 265's with 16x8's i have a 3" body lift right now in the box but i'm kinda debating whether or not i should put it on or sell it, my tires are gonna look so tiny with ~8 inches of lift. i wish i could afford 35's

yeah my 285's look pretty small with the 8 inches. The only thing that bothers me with the body lift is the bumpers. the front is kinda drooped in the middle and on the back bumper it is a slightly ****ed at an angle. A lot of people probably won't be able to tell but i definetly notice it. I wish i could of got some pics today, but by the time i got off work then washed the truck it was already too dark.

Me, my buddy, and my step-dad did it. It's not hard to install, it's just very time consuming and all of the relocation brackets are real tedious. It took us about two days to do it since the first day we had to cut it short so i could go to work then we got a late start on it the next day, but all together it was like 12 hrs for the install. I will for sure get some pics tomorrow after i get back from the junkyard (new valance). Mine seemed to grow legs and run away from behind my shed. haha Also I'm gonna make some gap guards out of a thick sheet of rubber i have.

alright sweet, yeah i noticed that gap that's between the frame and the front bumper. I'll probably get a valance and trim it in half so i can still get to my tow hooks in my frame. good deal i think $85 for gap guards is BS

The tow hooks still line up the same way with a body lift. All you have to do is flip them upside down.

Adjust your bumper brackets and get it as close as you can. Get someone to yank up on them while you tighten.

The front brackets are up as high as they go, it's just for some reason it has kind of a droop in the middle but not much (i say maybe a half inch). As for the back it'll just have to do since the bolt holes wouldn't line up right and i had to drill out an extra hole on one.

you could just mark off where the hooks are and cut out some holes in the valance.

eh, i think that would look tacky and i don't have the factory tow hooks, i just bought some shackles from 4wheelparts and bolted them to my frame
