Couldn't sleep, so I drove around @ 4am this morning looking for the darkest road possible just for some random shots. These show what I'm running for my lighting setup.

Lowbeam headlights are 6000K bi-xenon HIDs, but since the magnets barely move the beam at all and I live in the city, I never use the high-beam function. Heads are aimed below factory settings for oncoming driver courtesy...



unless that driver is a ***** and likes to drive around the city with his/her high-beams, then I can play too



These foglights came with 35W Phillips type-9145 bulbs with anti-glare paint on the tip.

So I fabricated an 8-ga wiring harness from a stand-alone switch in the cab to heavy-duty 9005 couplers, plugged into 9005 65W Sylvania Silverstar Ultras, no anti-glare paint. Aimed about 7* higher than normal, these act as my high-beams at night, but during the day, make excellent DRLs



Both sets burning. The color here is a bit distorted since the white balance was set to a higher setting (therefore giving the HIDs more of a bluer color).

For the past year I worked 10pm-4am so my internal clock is all screwy. I just transferred to dayshift but I still have trouble sleeping at night.

Tires still have 90% tread left on them, thats $800 worth of rubber. I'll get new wheels when the tires are worn down

No, I got these ebay specials A LONG LONG time ago before HIDs became the craze on here
