anybody...

guess my flasher is out, my left turn signal lights up but wont blink..flasher??

i read where it is..but anybody got a picture, its too dark to see right now or i would go look

One of the bulbs is probably out, if it were the flasher the right turn signal wouldn't work either. Do the 4 ways work?

Their a five pin relay type, blue or silver. Under the instrument panel beside the steering column. Careful, the black one beside is a regular Joe blow relay. You don't want that one. You can barely see the flasher in it's fixed position, you have to slide it out or remove a screw, then remove a cap to expose the relay and flasher.

was driving to the parts store this morning and it was working just fine...could it have been a short or something in the trailer i was pulling last night??

illness-idk why i didnt think of that first, brain fart!
raptor-wth are you talking about?? i wasnt gonna fix it right then...
GLC-i didnt try the flashers but i know all the bulbs work, im real **** about that and check them very often, and ill remember that next time about both sides not working if flasher IS bad

i said i looked for it!!! never said i found it haha..i was about to leave to go fishing and i looked right quick and decided "ehhhh nevermind"

but could it be something in the trailer?? or was it just stuck or something

working just fine, halfway back home it stopped working, stopped at my buddys house for about an hour, left still didnt work, unhooked trailer and worked just fine

I'm thinking he new this all along now. How could you not know it was something to do with the trailer

but why would it stop halfway down the highway..i had to drive 20 miles and 20 miles back home..i always use my signal light and out of nowhere it just stops blinking!

But it's fine without the trailer. You need to wiggle stuff around back there while your blinkers on, hazards are on, while brakes are applied and so on. Use a section of 2x4 and your power seat to apply brakes if you have to. So you can go back and move the harness and wires around.

Those wires are tiny, thin, -like 18-20awg. Doesn't take much for one to chaff up, bare and short. Sounds like an intermittent short in the trailer harness.

ahh ok..well its the trailer my dad built for his welder/generator so ill have him look at it because....i really dont feel like it

actually.....on second thought idk if i will..because he told me "dont $%&@ it up"

and if i tell him he is gonna blame it on me so ill let him figure it out on his own
