Not sure if you like this style, but I think they would look good on a lightning.

as for wheel spacers- my friend ran them for a year on his 99 without any problems, everything from burnouts to firewood....I love the chromed 01 L wheels myself..

Here you go:

I'm really disappointed in how quickly these wheels corroded, especially since we babied them. I purchased
them on Ebay from a vendor located in Southern California, three years ago. They were never exposed to
road salt or any other corrosive materials, and we live 15 miles from the coast. I'm no expert, but it would
appear that the plating was much thinner in the nooks and corners. Oh, well, live and learn...Too bad because
I really like the style of the stock wheel - I'd probably consider getting another set of chromies if I could
have more confidence in their durability.

Does Ford produce a chrome version of this wheel, or do all of the chrome versions come from aftermarket suppliers?

Cheers,

wow, that's pretty gnarly. I like that year of wheel too, but damn. I think Ford offered chrome for the Lightning, though I'm sure someone else here can verify that. Maybe you could powdercoat 'em, I've seen a lot of nice L's with pc stockers, looks good imo, but it's not for everyone.

And here is what you will like best, a red lightning with them on it.
