Hey guys, i having some kinda electrical problem with my truck, its is a 99 4.6 4x4. Here is what is happening, the dome light,radio and 4x4 work intermittently,For exemple lastnite i started my truck and none of theses things were working, and then i while later i was driving and i hit a pot hole and then the radio came on and the dome light worked and the 4x4 would engage again.I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe a ground or what ? Please help

 

Check your grounds, and you might even check those wires under the dash back to the power distribution (fuse) box to make sure the insulation is good and the wire isn't loose.

You could also check the fuse/relay, but if that were blown they shouldn't operate at all, not intermittently.

Check in your owner's manual to find which fuse or relay location those accessories come out of.
