fixed the transmission

1997 ford f-150 4x4 4.6 l

1st the 4x4 manual shifter on the floor will not budge the 4 wheel drive has worked in the past but hasnt been used in 2 or 3 years seems like its jammed or something
2nd off my brakes, well when i go to brake my brakes feel really soft and they pulsate while pressing them all the way down and its hard to stop unless i really slam them on the abs light is on also and ideas?

 

the linkage usually ceases up on the T-case lever, get under there and spray it with some pb blaster or something, then pull with all your might, worse case scenario you break it and have to buy a new linkage..ABS light is just a sensor, brakes sound like warped rotors and shot pads, have you inspected them?

 

yes inspected the brake pads and rotors they are new the pulsating isnt a vibrating like warped rotors the brake are really squishy and soft and the pulsating feels like air in them i will bleed them and try that to see if it works

 

yea bleed them and see what it feels like..thats probably what it is
