How many hours should I expect from the shop?
I just got an awesome 1998 F-150 4.6 Super Cab 4x4 the other day perfect shape 128k miles leveled on 33" tires only problem is the steering is just a little loose above 50mph.
So I went and got new Moog ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm & upper control arms. I was gonna do it myself but I really need to work on my boat this weekend so I decided to have a local shop put it all on.
My only question is how many labor hours should a reasonable shop charge for lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm & upper control arms?

Thats cool where did you get this from?
I was quoted $365 for the lower ball joints (cant remember if this included upper control arms too) & $318 for the pitman arm

$365 just for lowers. I'd do that for that much anytime. With airtool and the right press, maybe 1 1/2 hours per wheel. I did the whole front end uppers lowers, tie rods and endlinks in about 5 hours on a 98.
It's at the shop now they said $720 to do it all and give it an alignment I'd say that's pretty good!
