Question What gears to go with???

About a year ago I installed a 6in lift with 35in tires on my 2001 screw and ever since I have been un happy with its performance. The truck currently has 3.55's in it and it struggles to get up hills or up to speed. I am thinking about uping the gears but was looking for recommendations. I tow some but not a lot. I am looking to get as close to stock performance as possible. I had a few guys tell me to go with 4.56’s but that seems a little big to me? I don’t want to lose all my bottom end. Thanks

Will 4.56's fit on the stock axles? I was under the impression that 4.10's was the biggest I could go. Id rather not replace the axles. Would 4.10's be enough though?

No 4.10s would probably not be enough. Go with 4.56s and yes they will fit.

4.56 gears would be best unless you want to go bigger later on

4.56 if your using 35's.

as far as gear brand, I now favor Yukon.
