Thumbs up 2wd body lift?????

Alright I have a 2003 F150 2wd supercrew, i put a 1.5" leveling kit on so far but i really want a lift. So i would just likt to see some 3inch body lifts for
2wd trucks please!!!!! just so i can get an idea of what it might look like.

Look up b2therad, I'm pretty sure he was running around with just a BL for a while and probably has some pictures in one of his albums.

If you want and idea of ride height, just look at any stock 4x4. The 97-03 4x4's sit 3 inches taller than the 4x2's.

do they sit 3" taller with or with out a leveling kit? cuz i was also told by 4 wheel auto parts that i could run 35" tires with this 3" lift. I hope they didnt screw me....

haha they might just have screwd you. a 4x4 leveled with BL can run 35"s easy but i highly doubt youll be able to fit them unless you run stock wheels and do some trimming

also there is a thread on here by 4.2trimble (search it) with pics of a leveled 2wd with BL next to a leveled 4x4

I agree. A 4x2 with a leveling kit and a body lift will be about the same height as a stock 4x4 with the torsion bars cranked up.

Save the cash and do the body lift yourself. They aren't hard

Yes seriously! Save the cash and get 3.5" lift spindles from doestch and get some 4-5" blocks in the rear from fabtech. Use the extra few hundred you saved to take your gma someone nice for dinner

dont do the BL then, just do a spindle lift and install it yourself or your almost to the price of a fabtech 7.5" or rcd lift kit installed yourself which will get you 35"s easy

Yea, you can buy the fabtech 7.5" kit for just a smidge over that price. Put it on yourself and you're clearing 35's! That's the kit I have and you wont regret it, I promise! If you're second guessing yourself about the BL, then DONT DO IT! My experience has always been that if you second guess, you regret it later because you really wanted to do something else!

Just take your time with it, no rush man.
