They sound a bit different, bout it. No mileage/performance improvements.

now that i think about it, it had this really badass (i though so) sound at 2200 rpms.... maybe keeping the truck at that number more than WOT is what improved my numbers. but to get the sound, you have to have both the spacer and filter, the paper ones muffle the sound too much.

basically yea they suck. if you listen to the sound at low rpms, that will keep you out of the throttle and improve mileage.lol, but you can do that anyway.lol

All tests I have ever seen posted show a TBS does nothing for a port injection system. They did help a carb system.

TBS- Tried that as well, many many moons ago lol.

Sure, in theory it makes sense, but boy do they like to stretch that lol, - for marketing purposes I expect.

So, without getting into to much detail, -FAIL

Please don’t waste your money Bro. There was a time when they did work but that was back in the days of Carbs with cast iron intake manifolds. Now days it’s just an added restriction at the least a paper weight. My step dad bought a tornado for his truck I explained to him you just paid for an air restriction LOL. Do your self a favor if your going to stick with the V-6 and you want to feel the diff and not just delude your self into feeling the power gain by a Blower any type so long as it’s not the E blowers you will have money well spent. You can get even better results with adding to the blower set up with headers no cats free flow total moded exhaust from the headers back, FI, Custom non preprogrammed or mailed tune, Bigger fuel pump, Hotter coils if theses really exist today, Porting your TB elbow with a bigger Tb, water meth kit that is tuned with the kit to advance timing not just spray a colder intake temp, and the list goes on for miles.

There are plenty of mods for the V6 to pep it up to the 4.6L standards, just try using the search function.

Whoooaa lol. For that price you can sell your truck and buy a 99+ 4x4 with decent miles on a 5.4L

Not to say that it wouldn't make one hell of a v6 though

I would stick with the standards if your pockets aren't to deep. Try a better flowing filter, intake/exhaust with a tune. Should see some hp gains and not empty your pockets, its something you can do over the coarse of time.
