Thanks, but I know powdercoating is out of my range right now. Ive been looking at replacing the wheels, as they are not looking good, and if I replace them I want black, and just chrome bumpers would look dumb.

Arent most cars with the plastic bumpers paint? What would make the difference between the plastic painted bumper and a metal painted bumper?

well the chrome bumpers are the metal ones, but dipped in a chromium bath. you CAN, but i suggest A LOT of prep work (sandable primer, ahesion promoter, and lots and lots of sanding).
