Looking to do something different with bumper...opinoins/suggestions wanted

All -
As part of my transformation planning (working on front end of truck right now), I'm looking to do something different or spruce up the front bumper and/or air dam. This is on my '03 Screw FX4 (DSG). I will be doing HID for heads and fogs.

I currently have blacked out Lightning heads waiting to go on. In a couple months the truck will see a 6+3 lift as well. The overall theme will be DSG and black (ie black rims, step bars, smoked tails, 3rd brake light etc)

I'm curious on any opinions/suggestions.

1) Any recommendations on bumper/air dam replacement? I really want the PIAA air dam but those are impossible to find. I do think the lightning bumper covers look awesome

2) If you think I should keep the 4x4 air dam, what should I do to spruce it up? Anyone re-paint theirs? How about replacement fog lights? I see folks with real clear lenses...what are those?

Thanks!

if you stick with the 4x4 valance, get the euro fogs. instead of a smooth reflector ans fluted lense for light diffusion, they utilize a clear lense and a patternized reflector. its looks much newer and cleaner.

you could also do the HD or STX valance (hard or very $$$ to find) and get the 3" round fogs (im doing this route)

the Lightning bumper covers are widely available, but I detest seeing these on trucks other than Ls. seems to be poser and unless you have the matching body kit, it looks retarded with the front L bumper almost touching the ground and your side panels and rear bumper sit 3' off the ground

Where can I find these euro fogs you mentioned? Also would they change the type of HID bulbs I need to get (compared to the stock fogs)? Thanks!
