So I got my new truck 03 F-150 supercrew and the only problem is the antenna base is loose. It looks like it went threw a car wash or got smacked really good. Its not that bad, but how do I tighten it. Do I need to pop the black cover off or what. Any info or pics would be helpful.

FYI it works fine its just a little loose.

Yes you needa get the top cover off. I believe there are three screws that hold it in place, but I could be wrong.

I have the same year truck and my antenna was also loose. There are three sheet metal type screws holding it on. You need to pry up the plastic trim piece
at the base of the antenna where it meets the fender. Be careful with this as this piece did not give up easily and there is potential to:

1: Ruin the plastic piece

2: Dent or scratch the fender.

We should feel luckey to have problems like this. My is a 2003 F-150 FX4 off road and I am loving it.
