Ok, I desperately need a new radio trim bezel. The paint is cracking and falling off mine horribly. I ordered a replacement via ebay a year or so ago and it came it as expected and looked great. I never got around to installing it because I was lazy until I recently installed a different cd player. When I went to install the new bezel it wouldnt quite fit at the bottom. I then noticed that it has a perfectly square opening for the HVAC controls where mine has rounded corners on the bottom. I don't know what it would fit, but I have to assume an 03 with the electronic climate control?

So if anyone can find me a source for a nice tan radio bezel that has the 4x4 switch please let me know! Its making the interior of an otherwise very clean truck look terrible!

 

I'll keep an eye out next time I go to the junk yard.

My paint is falling off too. It looks like crap. I think you can buy paint to match at the dealer.

Yeah I'd check out salvage yards, but all the paint seems to fail eventually. Mine has too and I've repainted my dash too.

 

I tryed to get the paint from the dealer and they had never heard of my interior color code (KB). They said they were going to call me when they figured it out, and they never called me!

 

Yeah I already saw that one - its pretty much in the same condition as mine, maybe a tad worse (but that could just be dirt/grime in the picture).

I really wish I could have made the one I got fit because its in PERFECT shape...if it wasnt for that square climate control opening.

 

Do you have to order the paint from autozone or is it on the shelf? What brand is it?

 

Did you find your radio bezel yet? I know where one is at perfect condition local salvage yard has truck, tan interior, I been picking parts from truck for bout a week now. Let me know I can find out price and take pic to show.

 

No still looking. I sent you a message on your profile. I am definitely interested if you can get me a picture of it. None of the local scrapyards around this way have anything usable. Most of what I find is the grey/graphite colored interior. I don't wanna fool with painting - I would rather purchase a new one. If I can't source one used I may bite the bullet and see if the dealership can get me a brand new one.

Sry took so long. The one I can get doesn't have 4x4 switch on bezel has the shifter up thru the floor. And it has air bag key switch in lower right corner.

could you not just cut the corners slightly on the bezel?
