What do i need for 3" Body lift??

Hello from Austria!!
i want to buy a 3" body lift for my 97`f150 4,6L manual trans and manual 4 wheel drive
its on ebay Nr: 370344507474
for me its the cheapest way to get it to Austria
do i need a shift extension for both shifts (transfer case and transmission)
or dont
has anybody install this kind of lift to a f150 manual trans??
Thanks
Halvar

If it's a kit made by Performance Accessories, it should include everything you need. I've installed 2 PA body lifts, but neither had a manual trans or transfer case.

I've done the manual trans and transfer case and yes you have to have the shifter extensions for both...I had to buy them seperate because they did not come with the Performance Accesory kit...ask them to confirm that they do or don't come with the kit...GL

x2 - I've installed 2 also, neither of them a stick. The PA kit should have everying you need, but I would double check.

You dont have to get the extension for the shifter but idk about the transfer case shifter. f you dont get it, it just means your shifter will be 3" shorter

the "right" way is very subjective. it works just fine without the shifter extension. my sister had one installed on her old truck from a reputable shop in houston and they didnt extend it (why idk) but its not a necessay mod such as the bumpers or gas filler tube extension

I'm pretty sure it comes with an extension for the tcase shifter, but it must be welded on. Could be wrong though, been a while since I looked at the instructions.

Yes I think your right (T case shifter included) cause I had order the Tranny shifter extension and it was high...it was machined from Alum.

It does have all the extensions you need, however, they require welding. They came with my PA body lift kit.

Mine come with the t-case extension , but it did not come with the trans shifter extension , so i didnt fool with it...... and as Jake said you dont have to do the filler neck extension , you can just loosen your hose and slide it down a little and tightin it back up.
