Sludge

Is it common to have sludge in the oil fill neck on a 2003 Ford F150 4.6?

Yea, normal in most cases.

It'll go away in warm weather and/or you start driving your truck a lot more on the highway. Cold weather and in town stop and go makes it worse. It's just condensation.
