Used lift kits

Ok, so my plan was to install a BL and run 35s. But, just found a used 6" fabtech for sale. It's the front with rear blocks. For it plus new shocks I'm looking at around 700-800. Should I go with the suspension, or just run the BL that's sitting in my room?
If you think suspension, what kind of things should I look at when getting a used kit, also what skill level is the install on these things?

Almost forgot. Kit came off an ext cab 5.4, I have a single cab 5.4. Will it even fit, or is that a deal breaker?

It will definitely fit. Question is.. How big do you wanna go? Installing that suspension lift will be WAAAYYY easier then doing the body lift. Not saying the body lift is hard.. just saying in comparison the fabtech is way easier. I would JUMP ON IT..If it was me. Thats a steal. Just make sure the parts are in somewhat decent condition and if it looks good then go for it.

I don't think the fabtech lift will fit a single cab. You can probably find the instructions online.

Well if you don't get it, could you point me in its direction?
I've been trying to find a used kit for a little while now with no luck. I'd say do both, single cab short bet with 9" of lift on 38s? Good lord that would be sweet.

Haha. I thought about doing both, and running 38s but then I would have to start my gear search over again and this is still my daily driver. So I don't want to go too high just yet. Maybe in a few years or once I sell my jeep and get a car for dd

the kit will fit a standard cab truck. the torsion bar drop down brackets bolt where the torsion bar crossmember mounts, and the torsion bar crossmember is dropped down to the bottom of the drop down brackets... i paid $700 for my used fabtech w/ arched springs, and i considered that a steal.

by arched springs i meant i got new arched leaf springs for the rear suspension, eliminating the need for 6'' of block.

assuming the kit is complete for the front, you'll have everything you need. i strongly recommend replacing all of the bolts and shocks, though.

Definitely do the suspension lift. I bought mine used too. Be prepared to take a couple trips to Home Depot for missing bolts. I made sure I used all grade 8 hardware. Lock washers are probably a good idea too. Good luck!!!
