My brother in law has a duramax. Running 35's and a bullydog, and that thing is FAST. Quiet for a diesel too. He loaded up his tune one day with me in the truck and floored it. The truck didn't even move, just sat there and smoked the 35s until he backed off the gas, then it caught, and flew.

If I was going to get another truck it would be between an Single Cab 7.3 4x4, Ext. cab 7.3 4x4, or a Duramax ext. cab 4x4. There is a beautiful singlecab 250 on chuck's trucks, but it's a gasser. If it was a 7.3, I would probably be taking out a loan.

I've got a buddy who has a 6.0 with a tune, intake, and exhaust and another buddy that has a dmax with the same. Both will throw your head back in the seat, but they've raced and the 6.0 won all day. Theres a video of them racing somewhere on youtube I think too.

My buddy has a duramax Intake exsaust, pumps, injectors biggier turbos stage 6 chip and that thing is so fast not a car in the town that can catch it.

Actually never had to much to do with powerstrokes. Everyone i know that went to diesel got the duramax. The powerstroke could be sick too iv just never been in one thats fast.

next truck will be a 350 4X4 crew cab Lariat with the 6.4 or new 6.7 diesel, 6-8 inch lift and 37's. that'll be several years from now though, unless a super deal comes up...
