Questions on oil pump location ???
On a 1998 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 v 8 & auto trans. Can anyone tell me where the oil pump is located & where I might find articles on replacing it? Thanks. Chief Mike.
EDIT: My image links wont work but here is a link to the 3 images I tried to post. Hope it helps.

The oil pump is located behind the timing chains/cover and the pickup is in the oil pan. It's a royal PITA of a job to do. I'm not sure of any documentation on the net.
Timing chains:

Oil Pump:

Oil Pickup:

It's a long process.. the oil pump is on the crankshaft behind all the timing stuffs.
