I did some "upgrades" today on my F and well the results are very pleasing. First I cleaned the throttle body (very dirty), I replaced the air filter, cleaned the MAF and did the, oh so famous, GOTTS MOD. I was a total skeptic until I drove it afterwards. The throttle response is improved and the exhaust tone is really sweet now. I just wanted to let any and all know that these small things make a nice difference.......also big thanks to all the contributors of the HOW-TO section on this forum....helped a ton!!!
I did the same thing a few weeks ago Ice-Cable. The truck was in for a tune up so I had the throttle body cleaned, I cleaned the MAF during Thanksgiving, and did the GOTTS mod a couple weeks ago. Huge difference in the truck...took about a week for the truck to adjust to the GOTTS but great now

also, should I do anything with my diablo tune? or just let it go. I was unsure if the gotts would effect that or not.
No no no, skeptic about the gotts mod. I take real good care of the truck, baby it in fact, but I am always a skeptic when it comes to things like the Gotts mod. Too many times people agree with things primarly on the fact that they talked themselves into believing it before they even do it.
Ice Cable and Phil, just unhook the battery for 10-15 minutes, the PCM needs to adapt to the airflow. It happens over time, but the adaptive learning process is sped up that way
Just wait until you decide to get custom tuned... wow
