Help wireing rear slider window

Ok i know this is something that should go in the electrical section but i never have much luck there. I also posted this question a lil while ago and didnt have much luck either.. but now i return with pictures hopefully somebody can help me. I basically just need help wiring it.. i have no idea how to. I bought the truck this way. The previous owner made no attempt to wire it. Just put the switch in the dash and the window in and tucked the wires off the motor away under the plastic trip along the door.

OK so its hard to see but this is the slider motor behind the back seat.

Here are the 2 wires comming off of it yellow and red (ignore the big amp cable.. i got that wired just fine lol)

This is the switch for it you can see the 4 terminals on the back

Front view of the switch.

That would make sense. I know when hooking up a system the remote wire that powers the amp on and off with the ignition is hooked up to a blue wire on the harness because its only hot when the ignitions on. I guess i can just try it.. worst that can happen is i will blow a fuse?

Also any recommendations where to splice off of to get power?

try it first before you wire it. trust me. i installed power windows in mine and basically youll have an up and down and then power and ground. but testing always help identify problems before you do alot of wiring

Would i be able to test the circuit by using 2 multimeter? Hook one up to the power and ground (blue and black) and hook the other to the yellow and red. If i do this then when i flip the switch i should show some kind of reading on the 2nd multimeter right?

If you have access to an extra battery or a battery charger that would be best.

Touch one ofthe red/yellow wires to grond and the other power and the window should move open or closed that way you know which is open and close.

Then i'd get a relay and run power for the switch and then a ground for that. Should be tha simple

Well i don't think it really matters which way is what considering the window goes up and down and the switch was put in my dash horizontally haha. So it looks like this in my dash [<-->]

Where would you get power from? Somewhere in the fuse panel? Maybe the same circuit that powers my other windows?

you can run a new fused line from the battery or try another source but that source may not give enough power or draw too much for the fuse on that circuit

Yeah, but i would like it to only have power when the ignition is on. If i run it from the power window circuit it might be ok because its not like i will be rolling down all the windows at the same time. I can just make sure i roll that one down separately

true its worth a shot. also you can use a relay that is switched by the acc power to your radio to have it only work when the truck is on

So maybe I am dumb but are you using the stock non-power sliding window? If so where did you get the kit because I want to do the same thing.
