Lightbulb Got a toolbox? light it up

I went to the junkyard and pulled a few lights from under the hoods of cars for my toolbox... my plan was to use a door ajar switch to turn the lights on.. i got the switch but was too lazy to use it so i went w a toggle.. made a small box for the switch and glued it into my box (used goop) liquid nails would work too.. put 2 lights in the box and wired it to my fuse panel.. i am going to put a plug outside the box so i can take it out.. just didnt get the plug yet.. works great was tired of messing w a flashlight

That is a great idea. I'll have to give this a try when the weather gets warmer.

if u get the mercury light like the one under ur hood u dont need the toggle.. i got mercurys but one was broke so i had to take out the mercury switch and make it a straight shot to the light... one still is merc. so if i have them on and shut it one goes off. i still like the toggle for using it in the day so i dont kill the battery .... just an fyi if u decide to do it.
