well if you were here in denton and saw the traffic ud understand. people are freakin suicidal here, theyll just switch lanes even if theres a bus next to em. so i wanted to be protected. "just in case" ill re do it when i get a tube bender and have all the corners curved and the top part will curve more...all i had was a welder/torch so i did what i could

No problem. All it needs is a skid plate to go from that center section of the bumper then down to the front crossmember.

i always wanted to build something like that as well...maybe a little smaller but i personally like the style of it. with out using a bender, its a whole different look.

thanks guys. ya i want to put on a skid plate. I just need time to go home and fab one up...which may be a while..but yes ill have it from go from the crossmember of my fabtech lift all the way up to a crossbar ill put on that goes in front of my lights so if i do hit something my lights wont be the first to go. it will have welded on tabs so i can bolt it up and if i need to get to my engine I can easily by removing it.

Tabs are a must so you can remove it, also cause most skid plates are aluminum and I dont recommend trying to weld to aluminum ha. But if i ever need to do work on mine I just unbolt the skid and i can get to everything without needing to remove the bumper.
