4.6 to 5.4 and back again

Ok been toyin with the idea of supercharging the truck or doing a motor swap. Found something and was going to see what yall thought. What I want it to do is allow me to put a gen II lightning supercharger and intercooler on my 4.6 5 speed. Think it will work??

Or should I just start saving for the 5.4??

That kit is to allow you to use a 4.6 intake manifold on a 5.4, not the other way around. Its meant for people that are swapping from a 4.6 to a 5.4 so that they can reuse the intake manifold. So this would not allow you to fit a gen II lightning manifold/supercharger on a 4.6.

If you want to go the gen II supercharger route just get a 5.4. It's not worth the headaches of fabricating a way to put the 5.4 supercharger on the 4.6 when you would make more power on the 5.4 anyway.

Your 5 speed can't handle any substantial power increase without killing its reliability.
