Neat ideas of mine..

Well.. I had always seen things about people painting there dash and all that so I decided I wanted to paint something too. I took a look at my boring grey xlt door panels and decided to "spice" them up a little bit. I think its a 1,000,000% improvement from before and goes perfect with my grey/black themed interior. Heres some pics for you guys.

It looks good, but not sure if I like it but then again you are going in the oppsite deriaction that I am since I am high lighting mine with black.

ohhh man you just opened up a whole new can of work now lol

looks good

but eventually youre gonna get to the point where you want your whole dash black....ask me how i know haha

Oh god.. I know! I have soo much crap to do still, but for a few hours of work I cant complain. I wanna do most of the dash black already. OHH btw! How do you know!?

i rolled with all of my dash black except for the BIG main piece that goes all the way across the cab, and it annoyed the hell out of me honestly.

ended up pulling out the WHOLE dash out and painting it

I MIGHT do that.. I am not sure. I am going to try the grey/black two tone for a little bit, and throw in some ptm blue here and there. See how it works, and if I dont like it then its getting blacked out for sure.

Nice. I hope to do mine soon but I think my black will be up higher kinda trying to copy the way the lightning interior came

you should have done the little round screw hole cover behind the handle.

what was the prep and paint process?
materials used?

let us know how it holds up
