well here is the deal I was driving the other day to go and get the brakes for my truck and on my way back home my brakes went out and I had to use the engine to brake all the way home and when I got there I saw what looked and felt like brake fluid and it was coming from one of the pistons on the passenger side caliper (what I am assuming happened was that one of the pads fell off of the caliper and the caliper opened up all the way) but I looked and could not find a tear in the boot of the caliper so I just pushed it back in and I am currently changing the pads and rotors and I am going to try the brakes out and if it is leaking then I will change or rebuild the caliper which ever is more economical
