i need to paint my back window thang??

i want to paint my back window thang, you know the gray thang that goes around the back window u prob dont know what i mean but its gray and and my 97 f150 is black and i hate the gray

I think theres some good write ups on this in the how to, but i you need to do to simply clean it off real good use some window cleaner on it, then tape it off, then get some krylon fusion paint, paint it and then clear it once your done.

sand down with some 400 grit. you need to mask off everything with a CRAPLOAD of newpaper. prime,color, and then a few coats of clear

i dont think there is a write up on this but its pretty much the same process as painting the bed caps so if you dont find one on that search paint bed caps all i did was scuff it with a green scotch bright pad wipe it down with laquer thinner to clean it then primed it and painted it with krylon fusion gloss black i didnt use clear but i would recommed using clear as ive been told it helps fading

the black trim around u window is what i wont to paint so all i do is us some 400 sandpaper and then tape every thang of then paint, then paint again, then clear,and aclear again, is that all i do?

i primed once 3 coats black idk how many clear coats you would wanna use as i didnt use any id say 2

You can also use Showroom New Trim Restorer, which is a dye, not a paint.
